Dr. Kelsey Swope, OTD, OTR/L, BCG

Kelsey has been a treating occupational therapist since 2013 and started Baby Basics OT when she discovered the overwhelming need for helping parents and guardians therapeutically improve babies’ movement and development.

Kelsey is mom to Henry, George, and Anna. Kelsey has first-hand experience in some of the challenges that are experienced with newborns as two of her children had tethered oral tissues.

Kelsey is passionate about helping other parents and guardians connect the dots to enjoy this truly magical time with their infants. She is certified in TummyTime! Method and looks forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Alexandra “Ali” Bundy, MOT, OTR/L

Ali has been a treating occupational therapist since 2018. She has worked all a variety of settings including geriatrics, inpatient and outpatient, and multiple pediatric settings. She has always had a passion for working in pediatrics with being a preschool teacher for 5 years and daycare provider for 2 years.

Ali is a mom to Rowan and Bennett. With two young boys, she has had the opportunity to see the importance of advocating for your children first-hand and knowing the challenges of trusting your “mom instinct.” Both of her children have had tethered oral issues and had to work hard to ensure proper growth and development for them. Ali believes it’s extremely important to help parents feel confident in raising their children and help them advocate for themselves. She wants to be able to provide help to as many parents as possible to reduce stress and to allow families to enjoy their time with their infants through play.

” Kelsey was a wonderful support for my son with helping him to learn to walk. He wasn’t yet walking independently by 17 months and I reached out to her. Within just 2 appointments with her, he was taking a few steps on his own! She came to our house which was really helpful in giving us ideas to work on his walking in our own space. She also helped with his language skills and gave me ideas to engage with him to improve those as well. I would highly recommend working with Kelsey for any OT needs! “
